PORTFOLIO: Historical Renovation

PROJECT: Remodel to home that included shoring the entire existing house to replace the foundation and lower the grade to allow for adding living space in the basement. Period home and had to exactly replicate all traditional doors, mouldings, and cabinetry to match the existing woodwork. BBC re-configured the top floor for a new master bathroom, master bedroom, and two other bedrooms. Scope also included a new kitchen, breakfast room, laundry room, and family room. A two-story steel moment frame was added to seismically upgrade the house.
